Wilder has been finding it harder and harder to do everyday things. It wasn’t that long ago that going up and down the steps was not that tough for the 9 year old.
Unfortunately his Duchenne muscular dystrophy is starting to take away some of his mobility. Getting in and out of his home was becoming difficult and his parents decided to build a handicap ramp.
They reached out to us for help with the cost. We pitched in with the purchase of the ramp lumber and Dad is providing the labor to make it happen. The weather has cooperated and Wilder will be using his new entry ramp soon. We were pleased to be able to help Wilder in this small but important way as his issues increasingly impact his daily life.
